Born on the ancient Georgian land, from childhood, I joined the Orthodox Christian culture. But it was only in my adulthood that I became seriously interested in the origins of iconography, studied the ancient Georgian and Byzantine technique of painting icons. I painted this icon of St. Nicholas especially for my godson, named after the Saint.
